Position Description: IT Help Desk Specialist (5) - Makati
Level: Non-Manager
Location: Manila (Makati), Philippines
Start Date: Immediate

Currently exciting opportunities exist for five full-time experienced IT Help Desk Specialists. Our clients are located globally and are seeking professional and dedicated virtual team members.




Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Review the incoming service requests (telephone/electronic/blog) and assign them to the appropriate solution provider within the client IT team
  • Resolve all the level-1 technical issues via pre-established documentation
  • Deliver unsurpassed customer service by efficiently and professionally applying knowledge of software, applications and hardware
  • Work in a team environment to research customer problems and find solutions
  • Handle special projects with no degradation of ongoing assignments and responsibilities
  • Manage workload effectively and provide accurate accounting of work and time allocation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • As clients are located globally you MUST be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Available to work a variable schedule based on client needs
  • Bachelor of Science Degree - Computer Science preferred, but other university degrees considered with work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in information technology or related technical fields
  • Experience with: Windows XP, Networks, Telecom, and PC architecture; application support experience preferred
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to new environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities, set priorities, and meet deadlines
