Do's and Don’ts for your resume and cover letter:
- Don’t include any non-essential personal data on your resume; i.e. gender, marital status, religion, picture and etc.
- Do, if applicable, include your university/college GPA on your resume
- Do include a telephone number, email address and instant messenger ID/VOIP ID (Yahoo and/or Skype) if available, where you can be reached
- Do include your salary history by position in your cover letter
- Do include your availability for work (how quickly you can begin after offer extension) in your cover letter; i.e. immediately, one week, two weeks and etc.
- Do reference position you are applying for in email subject line
- Do send resumes and cover letters to hr@myemployee.net.
